Angel of Music

At the end of my fanfiction (Don't keep reading if you don't want spoilers) after Dana and Erik return to the group, Nadir and Madame Giry berate him for trying to jump off the Paris Opera House roof and scaring the living daylights out of them, and Meg draws Danastine to tell her that she needs to tell Erik how she feels about him. When Danastine blushes and insists that she did, Meg snorts and replies, "Singing a song at him doesn't count."

Madame and Nadir shove Erik towards Danstine, Meg shoves Danastine towards Erik, and perhaps there's a certain song from Strange Magic occuring at the time along the lines of

Tell him, that, you're never gonna leave him
Tell him, that, you're always gonna love him
Tell him, tell him, tell'im, tell him right now....

Tell her right now...

Right....now....


Erik nervously--very nervously--starts to sing. The reason for his nervousness becomes apparent when a bewildered Danastine realizes that this is the same song he sang to her on the stage of Don Juan, where he actually tried to make amends and express his feelings and she responded by ripping his mask off in front of the entire world. "Say you'll share with me one love...one lifetime...lead me, save me from my solitude...say you'll want me with you here, beside you....anywhere you go, let me go too...Christine...that's all I ask...of..."

She grabs him by the collar and kisses him.

To the trumpets of "Angel of Music (reprise)" from the Final Lair, of course
